Please help me! What type of job are you looking for? I am looking for any job you can offer me! I would love the buzz of working in bars and coffeshops but being a qualified hairdresser for the past 2 years I would settle for anything that includes working with people :) from call centres to coffee shops I would be more than happy to work in such a beautiful country and share your culture. What nationality are you? I am from Glasgow, Scotland. I stay at home with my parents but lack of space and different opinions cause alot of trouble in my home and I am staying at a friends until I can pick myself up. I need a change! I am sick of the streets of Glasgow and need something new and exciting in my life :-) What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I am a very fluent, polite English speaker but with a Scottish accent of course :p I also speak some broken French and since considering moving to the Netherlands I have started to learn some Dutch. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I would work anywhere doing anything. I crave an exciting life and that is something I can no longer find in Glasgow. I would do anything from cleaning to bar work. What countries have you worked in? I have only ever worked in Glasgow. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I can work/live anywhere in the EU What field do you currently work in? I am a hairdresser by day and bar girl by night. What fields have you worked in before? Hairdressing, dental nurse and bar girl are the only jobs I have ever done. What qualifications do you hold? I have all my GSCE's at a credit level an also hold an SVQ level 2 hairdressing qualification. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? To me, skills are more important than formal education. If you were to fill a room with 30 people and teach them all the same thing, the people with the correct skills will excel most in their job and also be happy while they work. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others include a happy team working environment and different input, opinions and ideas from other team members. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone provides a sense of independency. It creates a challenge for yourself to see how you cope under pressure and working on your own initiative. What was your worst working experience? My time as a dental nurse was probably the worst job I have I had. After working in the buzzing environment of a hair salon and bars I felt I had subjected myself to a boring life lol! But all in all I have never had a 'bad working experience'. Any experience is good experience. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? No matter what, don't let people get you down. Whether it was a bitchy member of staff or a fussy client I have learnt to take each day as it comes and never let other peoples bad attitudes put me down. What unique skills do you have? I am a very friendly, young 19 year old female. I am ambitious, hard working, self motivated and driven by my own sense of achievement. I am constantly setting goals and targets to reach and moving to the Netherlands and starting a new, independent life of my own is one I intend to reach!! What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My 'dream job' is one that makes me happy! It wouldn't matter to me what I do in life as long as I am working with a great bunch of people and learning new things! What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I love working with people. I love meeting new people, sharing stories, learnIng about their lives and sharing stories of my own. Everyday provides change and something different for me to sink my teeth into lol What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Its not that I don't like my job but it has always been in my interest to travel and work/live in another country. Can you help me? I really hope you can! My life in Glasgow is terrible at the moment and I hope you can find a space for me in your beautiful country :) How can potential employers contact you?
