What type of job are you looking for?

I am interested in a job in the sector of Social services, social welfare, social work etc

What nationality are you?

Indian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English - Fluent Hindi - Fluent Marathi - Fluent German - Intermediate

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Anywhere in Europe. My son is a student in the Netherlands and my husband has got a job here so I had to follow him. I have worked for 27 years and I cant sit idle. I need a purpose.

What countries have you worked in?

India, Hong Kong

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Europe and Hong Kong

What field do you currently work in?

Presently looking for a job.

What fields have you worked in before?

Social Work, Administration, A little bit in accounts and taxation, banking etc

What qualifications do you hold?

Master's in Social work, Master's in Administration (not completed but have knowledge) Bachelor in Law.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

According to me both are equally important as one without the other is incomplete.

Describe the benefits of working with others

The most important benefit of working with others is that you get an opportunity to learn from other's mistakes, to learn different approaches, strategies, method of working, we also learn how to and how not to do certain things or behave.

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits could be that you are your own boss and have to be responsible for whatever you do. You can work in peace without any distraction, have your own agenda, plan your own schedule etc.

What was your worst working experience?

That people want credit for not doing anything and portray somebody else's work as one's own.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Hard work, honesty and sincereity pays in the long run.

What unique skills do you have?

Inter-personal skills and compassion while working with human beings. i can take my own decisions and work in a responsible manner and without supervision.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Any job in the realm of social work.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

we can reach out to humanity and try and help them in whatever small way. In other words try and make a difference in somebody's life.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Some problems of human beings are insoluble over which we have no control such as health, misery,etc
