I am seriously thinking about moving to Amsterdam and would appreciate any advice anyone can give with regards to obtaining the right papers, permits etc to work over here.

I'm a British national, 40, and I'm looking Bar work or IT work.

I am looking to work in Amsterdam in the Bar trade i have worked in Ireland in the Bar trade for 2 years now and would love the chance to contiune this line of work in Amsterdam.I think my irish Bar skills would fit in well in amsterdam. Hi, my names Steve, i'm a 22 yr old guy lookin for work within the bar & catering industry within Amsterdamn. I have visited the city before and was facinated with the culture and lifestyle there. I have been managing a small hotel in Wales for the last 18 months which has included bar & kitchen management and also a lot of cooking. I have also obtained a certificate to say that i have passed the course needed to obtain a British supply of alcohol Licsence (dont know if it can be used over there tho). Any work will do.

Hi My wife and myself are moving to holland in June this year 2006. I have over thirty years experance in the fabrication and welding trade covering a wide range of experances. MIG, TIG stanless and so on. I have always played a hands on role even at management level. My wife is qulified in quality assurance/ control.

I worked and lived in holland about 15 years ago and was there for about 3 years. I still have my sofee number. We will be around the Leiden area at first looking for work. can you let me know the best agencies to head for first and any pit falls we may need to watch out for.

My names Jodie, I'm 21 and originally from the UK, however I have been living working in Lagos, Portugal for the past two years. I am hoping to be able to find some work in Amsterdam over the winter period and perhaps longer if things work out.

I have experience in restaurants, bars, youth hostels, bookings and various other aspects of the tourist trade. I am a keen worker but also like to have fun. Living in a crazy tourist town for the past few years has taught me how to survive and I can easily adapt to most situation.
