What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a French/ English teaching job in the Netherlands.

I have a Romanian nationality.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak native Romanian,I speak fluently English and French and a little bit of Spanish.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I would like to work in or around Den Haag, Rotterdam, Amsterdam.

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked in Romania as a French or English teacher.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I don't need any special visa. I have a Europeen passport.

What field do you currently work in?

Over the past 4 years I have worked in public education, teaching French. My students have ages between 9 and 14 years old.

What fields have you worked in before?

I was teaching French. My students had ages between 7 and 18 years old and even grown-ups.

I also had the chance to teach English (2 years)for students with ages between 11 and 14 years old. I was a form teacher too.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have "Definitive teacher degree" in teaching French.

I have recieved the Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and French)

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I think that skills and formal education should "work" hand in hand. Still, skills are very important because as a teacher you have to adapt yourself and your lessons to the different abilities, needs and skills of the students.

Describe the benefits of working with others

It is good working with others because you have the chance to share information, ideas and teaching methods. This change of experience helps you to improve yourself.

Describe the benefits of working alone

If you work alone you work in your own style and rythm. You can quiqly adapt to the new situations.

What was your worst working experience?

I didn't have any bad working experience till now.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learnt that every student has his own personality and his own possibilities and skills. As a teacher you have to make him believe in himself. You have to make the student to love your classes.

What unique skills do you have?

As a teacher I am very patient and very supportive. I pay attention to every student.I am also very honest with my students and with myself.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

I think that being a teacher is very important and also very beautiful. When you realise that what you transmited to your students helped them in life in a way or another you should be very proud of yourself.

Anyway, every job has its own benefits and importance.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The fact that you share your knowledge with students (children especially) makes you fell so important and self- confident. As a teacher you learn to better understand the others and to make your students to better (inter)communicate.

Please replace this with a question of your own

When will you have a French/ English teaching job available?

How can potential employers contact you?

For any information they need, my employers can write me at madalinagabi@yahoo.com
