I`m looking for a job as a Polish teacher or in edition/correction.
What nationality are you?
I`m Polish.
What languages do you speak (and at what level)?
I am native speaker of Polish language and I also speak English (fluent), Russian (conversational ability) and Spanish (basics).
What country or area are you looking to work in and why?
I arrived in the Netherlands last month and I am planning to stay here for the period of about two years. I`m lookin for a job in Amsterdam.

I`m looking for a job.
What fields have you worked in before?
I`ve worked as a Polish teacher for foreigners and in editorial studio, Polish magazine and publishing house.
What qualifications do you hold?
I have the Master Degree in Polish philology from University of Warsaw and I have finished the specialization of teaching Polish as a foreign language (also at University of Warsaw). My second specialization is editorial and publishing.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I think that it depends on what you want. But I think that education without skills can be just useless.
Describe the benefits of working with others
You can be more creative as other people can inspire you. Sometimes it`s also more effective because you cannot be an expert in everything so it`s very important to divide your work in sensible way.
Describe the benefits of working alone
You can prepare for your work at any time because you don`t depend on anyone. You can use your own ideas, check them in practice and you can be more flexible as you don`t have to convince the whole group of poeple to your ideas.
What was your worst working experience?
I didn`t like working as a secretary in International Forwarding Company C. Hartwig Warszawa S.A. because I believe that working in this place required some knowledge of transport industry that I don`t have.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
That you have to focus on your goal and that this goal is not only what you think but what your students need.
What unique skills do you have?
I prepare my own lessons so that they`re not boring and there is always something new during them.
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
Working as a Polish teacher for foreigners in small groups of students.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
That you always are suprised with how languages and thinking in languages differ one from the other.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
That sometimes you have to do the same thing with many groups but the truth is that every group is different.
What experience in teaching do you have?
I was a teacher of Polish language at Skarbek Graduate School of Business Economics at Warsaw. I was conducting and preparing Polish classes for foreigners at level A (basic); in total over 80 students participated in that course. I was also a teacher of Polish language at ‘Polonicum’ - Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners at University of Warsaw. I was assisting in teaching and helping in organization of Summer Course of Polish Language organized by ‘Polonicum’.
