Senior ASP.NET C# Developer/ArchitectI have a strong knowledge of developing robust ASP.NET applications with Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1/2/3.5.I was involved in the full life cycle development of an Equities/Derivatives website for CCH which was sold to Citigroup and HBOS. We developed the website using the MVP pattern, in a scrum and agile environment. The website was developed using ASP.NET 2, C# and SQL server 2005. We converted the system to ASP.NET 3.5 for the new derivatives functionality. I developed a windows based Pensions and Personal Tax application using MCAB and smart client applications, in an agile, scrum environment. I was involved in the full life cycle development of a web based corporate tax system for Tax computer systems, using ASP.NET2, C#, Ajax and SQL Server 2000. I released the first C# Console application into production whilst working at IPT. The application was responsible for the data merging of 1000s of emails from a SQL Server database as part of a huge chain emailing system. This emailing chain was the result of IPT’s second biggest, most profitable website, which I personally built from the ground up. I was involved in the full life cycle development of many of IPT’s websites. I released the first C# Windows service in IPT. The service was purpose built for our clients, to allow them to depict the style and content of their emails. I received accolades from our customers for the quality of this service. I am excellent at re-writing other peoples C# code into more re-usable components. I am fully versed with the Microsoft Enterprise Library and Microsoft best practices. I have experience working on IBM mainframes, COBOL, Natural Adabas databases, Java. I have 2 years experience working in a banking environment, EDS (Johannesburg), where I worked on a credit card mainframe. |
