At present, none What field do you currently work in? Just recently,a management and enetertainment job I held at a beach restaurant, bar and Club was made redundant due to the global financial meltdown so at the moment I am engaged in Barbering -another skill I possess - while I search for new opportunities. What fields have you worked in before? Banana Marketing Coporation(extention officer); Food Emporium Hypermarket (supervisor); Barber; Purple Turtle beach Club (Manager) What qualifications do you hold? Bachelors Degree in Management studies Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I believe a combination of both is of paramount importance to any organization; Formal education only sharpens already existing skills and an individual possessing both can be considered more readily prepared to deliver effectively in a firm. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others helps one to learn and gain new experiences since we all come from different backgrounds with different skills; Team work is said to be of most importance to any enterprise in modern times since no one individual has all the answers to solving problems. Focus groups are very essential and used as one of the tools to solving some of the more onerous problems that may arise in any enterprise. Finally, working with others broadens one horizon and helps him/her to see things in a new light - especially if oblivious. Describe the benefits of working alone Notwithstanding what was said above about working with others,working alone has some benefits. Certain tasks call for undivided attention where an individual needs to remain focus and undisturbed in other to perform and carry out the given function effectively and expediently; in such cases I believe an individual needs to be set apart from other counterparts. Examples can be found in computer programming experts,Planning specialists, Some managers etc. What was your worst working experience? I really can't identify a worse working experience since I take pride in everything that I do and make it a part of me but since recently I managed a night club and unfortunately due to loss of capital through the global financial crisis, the owners had to come to a closer resulting in my post being made redundant, I can consider that experience to be my worst. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? In a nutshell, show much respect for those in authority since they have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share and further, when dealing with customers, show due deligence because without customers there is no business and without business there is not a job to go to. What unique skills do you have? I am particularly gifted in the areas of coordinating and directing; communicating (both oral and written)and I am exceptionally keen when dealing with people. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Though I may have different ideas of what my dream job is considerd to be but amonst all I am going to have to stick to being a CEO of a multi-corporation. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspect to me is meeting and interacting with different people from different backgroungs; I happen to gain knowledge through other people's experiences and it also gives me a chance to exchange some of mines; motivating others also makes me feel good. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least interested aspect to me is having to be dragged into conundrums that waste valuable time and energy that can been spent doing more valuable things. How can potential employers contact you?
