Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is a prerequisite to obtain skills in science. Describe the benefits of working with others Collectivity achieves better, sustainable and stronger results, and diminishes the risk of errors. Describe the benefits of working alone Possibly feeling more independent but at the same time being prone to errors. So, personally speaking here, I cannot encourage anyone to work alone in medicine. What was your worst working experience? The so called "VIP Patient Syndrome" which includes the immediate environment of the patient, wasting valuable time with senseless discussions and "doctor-shopping". What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Perseverance to human values, endeavor in continuous obtaining knowledge, and avoiding to succumb to materialistic temptations to the detriment of humanity. What unique skills do you have? This question is to be answered by those who know me. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Dream Job? ....to run an oncology establishment, doing preventive work only, as the "cancer" problem is forever solved....it's utopia, but I would call it a dream job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? When through prevention, education and early detection many malignant disorders are potentially curable. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? When patients succumb to their disease despite the efforts applied to save them. 1) Why do I want to relocate and start anew ? 2) Some personal data to 1)Some call it midlife need for change and adventures, some an escape from a routine, and I, need to move on and get challenged.
