I'd like to work in a country other than India where opportunities are given based on individual skill in the subject and not based on caste and creed. So, I'd like to work throughout my life in a country where I could be involved in pure research and serve the student community

I've worked in reputed educational institutions in TamilNadu and Pondicherry in India for the past 10 yrs.

I do not possess any visa. But if opportunities are provided I'd get visa.

I'm currently working as Professor and Head in Biotechnology at Achariya Arts and Science College, Pondicherry, India.

I've worked in Microbiology and Biotechnology

M.Sc. Lifesciences from Pondicherry University M.Phil Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, Trichy TamilNadu, India Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics 10 yrs of teaching in Biotechnology at senior lecturer and professor level organising seminars, workshops etc
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
Formal education is the strength that one gets for performing their skills to get oppurtunities that ensures better life in their academic career supported by good hike in the incentives
Describe the benefits of working with others
Being in a group develops the sense of humanity and forgiveness in life.It develops the knowledge of any topic given. Any research work has to be done in group involving project fellows, Project assistants, junior research and senior research fellows, research associate and scientist in the given hierarchy.

working alone in the field of science and technology is like a fish out of water
What was your worst working experience?
Every moment in my life is evergreen with all the sweet memories of being a good biotechnologist
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
Being a teacher and researcher has developed me as a good academician. I've developed a very good command over the subject biotechnology. The most important lesson I 've learnt is to utilise the opportunity provided at any time in life
What unique skills do you have?
I 'm a good teacher for any level of students. I motivate them to shin in their disciplines. i'm a good human being who gives value for human rights. I'm very good in presenting papers in seminars
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
working in a group of renowned scientists in research in lab to land technlogies in biotech nology
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
Biotechnology is the ruler of this world in the upcoming years. It is the field which creates life saving drugs, protein rich food for somalia people, for cultivating bigger fruits and vegetables etc.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
my field does not have any least interesting aspect at all.
