i am seeking a fulfilling gourmet career. one that will elevate my fondness and specialized skills in food presentation, beverage and dining innovation to fully qualify me as a Chef par excellance, as I get exposed in sophisticated banquets and events which is why I am eyeing New York city to be my work destination.

I am a fluent English speaker and writer. I am confident to say that my English proficiency level is of high standards as I deal with a lot of correspondences in written and oral form. I run a personal blog about different sorts of stuff, specially including about food and other facts of life.
What State are you looking to work in and why?
New York city ranks the highest on my roster since I have always loved to evolve with the fast phased and prime calibered reputation of The Big Apple, with all the famous and well renowned icons of fashion, business and of course culinary industry that is built around her, the chances to a great career is definitely promising.
What field do you currently work in?
I am currently associated with the job of a five-star service Garde Manger position in a well established business hotel brand - that is the Marriott affiliate of world-class resorts, hotels and restaurant chains. i have been honed and exposed in developing banquet food presentation and as well as front of the house support in both the fine dining and catering set ups, globally. To name a few of my stints are : my internship in Reading England, my work contract in Alberta Canada and my current employment in Orlando Florida,USA.
What fields have you worked in before?
I have been in the Customer Service field for the last thirteen years of my professional endeavors. I started formally after my college graduation in a global telecommunication company as a Customer Service Representative and i then moved on to shift in the Food and Beverage Industry by undertaking on the job internship in the Philippines and in both Europe, Canada and now in the United States and in fact am still actively developing and exposing myself to further heights and ventures.
What qualifications do you hold?
My Diploma in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Management from a polytechnic university in the Philippines would best sum up my high end qualification bid to catapult a promising career, as i am now leading it in the Culinary field. I believe my general know how in E-commerce can facilitate best all global undertakings that any kind of job would require, as the information gateway would always be our cutting edge to constantly equip us in this continuing global trends of innovations whether it would be in the office or in the operational frontier of our daily jobs. Moreover, I am also proud to merit my world class exposure to the Global brands that I have come to work with from varying continents of the world and all the multi-cultural applications that has strengthen my core in performing my chosen career in the F and B industry.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I highly consider formal education as more valuable because I believe that the true foundation of our stability towards more development of not only our skills but our talents would expand and effectively manifest once we have touch based our learnings from the Institutions that can establish our proficiency and core moral values. That of which is being taught in schools and universities and from where I have indeed culitivated my most valued formal education.

working with others establishes our sense of responsibility to lead, to follow and to be conscious in upholding that leadership by setting the example as we create our sense of awareness to our environment. The constant rapport that we discover among others builds that communication path to challenging out competency and reliability as we sustain our endurance by learning from one another, both our subordinates and superiors that make up an organization and thus, consisting our work environment.
Describe the benefits of working alone
working alone on the other hand builds that trustworthiness and competetiveness within us. Not relying on what is already given or presented by others in the absence of another party while we try to elevate our work in private truly enhances our potential, specially because we harness our originality and self reliance, which is very important to becoming truly professional
What was your worst working experience?
my worst working experience was when I had to do a field sales job from a small scale IT company. The equipments that I sell were not proportion to the volume of orders that my clientele requires and so I got to the point of failing to deliver the customer expectaions, though I got to apply my people skills handling from my years of training in the Customer service job I evolved from
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
I have most importantly learned to not rely on awards and rewards or recognition, though it has remained to be also a motivating factor for me to get recognized. But having built my ethics on the basis of sincerity and hardwork, I have come up with my personal mission statement of working with dedication and passion to open more doors to progression and succession.I always believe that if I persevere in the interest of pleasing myself with the quality of work i put in to what i do, i am able to double the pleasure that others would see from me, since I have foremost impressed myself with the accomplishment I am making always

I am very adaptive, savvy and creative. I have a communication skill that process both the inputs I could grow from out of the critique of others and the outputs I could contribute thru the constructive pro-activeness that I deliver
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
my dream job is to be a true connoisseur of the Food profession. to be designing my own menu and to be conceptualizing my own events by running my restaurant or a beverage bar
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
the ability to appreciate all the wide concepts of tasting, of cooking techniques and the pleasure of bringing awe to every food fanatic that would simply do business in an environment of food and beverage and Hospitality as well
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
only the lack of interest on this field can equate to the least interesting aspect that this line of work can actually develop for me, if I would even ever allow it

we can never claim enough success of ourselves, simply because our desire to excell rely on our desire to keep living for a purpose and for self worth, and so as long as we see growth around us and we see at the same time turmoil ahead of us, we will always aspire to be greater than what we already are, since it is human nature to desire better and better, to long for assurance amidst so many challenges of change and of time , and the only way to keep us ahead of the game is to find no better competition than the competition we can raise against ourselves, because obviously we won't allow harm to be in our own path and company
