Newzealand - Australia I have been living in the kingdom of thailand for the last one and half years to study the art of thai boxing , and i m currently looking for a challenging job oppurtunity in a country where i can work and still be able to practice and compete in boxing events. I m currently working as a professional boxer , have been for the last one and half years , and before that i had 8 years experience in the field of security systems occupying different positions in a number of multinational companies as systems engineer, head of security systems department , assistant manager/engineering services , and manager/northern emirates (UAE) What fields have you worked in before? integrated security systems (access control , CCTV , burglary alarms , parking solutions) , home automation , data networks and IP telephony What qualifications do you hold? I ve graduated from Cairo University , faculty of engineering , communication and electronics department 2001 Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? skills , it might come from my personal experience , but i would very much say that what i ve learned in real life from being exposed to different experiences at work was much more benefecial than academic studies. holding a bachelor degree in engineering helped me developing my capabilities of problem solving and improved the way i think in general though. What was your worst working experience? there is no such a thing as a "bad" work experience What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? being able to be a team player is something that you dont learn at school and is a major factor in your success. What unique skills do you have? I m the only and the first professional female boxer from my country , and i guess i m the only one holding an engineering degree :-) What would you consider as your 'dream job'? my "dream" is not related to a specific job , it's a dream to achieve the max i can achieve in any job i have , so basically every job i accept to take responsibitily of IS a dream job to me.
