I am working in the instrument section of a medical laboratory . What fields have you worked in before? I have worked in the quality assurance unit of a medical laboratory, were standardization, quality control of reagents are carried out so as to ascertain their actual compositions. What qualifications do you hold? HND in Science Laboratroy Technology (Microbiology/Biochemistry option) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is valuable than skills because great skills can be developed through formal education, while formal education can never be developed through skills. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others as a team have alot of benefits such as learning new ideas, sharing ideas, learning to be tolerant and accomodating despite individual, tribal or ethnic differences. These can lead to high productivity. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefit of working alone is that there are few distractions and high concentration which leads to higher productivity. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience is working with people that don't practice the S.O.P (Standard Opperational Procedure) and working without safty wears like gloves, nose mask, disinfectant etc. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? A good lesson is that prevention is better than cure, since not all preventable diseases can be cured, so is good to try as much as possible to avoid accident from occuring because once it happens it can never be reversed. What unique skills do you have? I have the follwing unqiue skills, ability to work independently under pressure with little supervision, I have good communication skill, I have the abilty to tolerate others and be patient in difficulty. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would like to be working as a quality control personnel. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting parts of my field is the practical aspect. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The theoritical aspects are the least interesting part of my field.
