Busines Development task. New markets opennings.

What type of job are you looking for?

Management/Representative position for the new start-up on the following territory: Baltic states, Russia, Ukraine. Proper set up for new Regional Office. Staff hiring, it's training and strategy arrangement according to corporate standard.

What nationality are you?

Russian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Russian (native), English (fluent), Lithuanian (fluent), Ukrainian (was second language in the past, now needs some practice), Polish (understanding, basic communication).

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Depending from the task and settled b/target, relocation is not a problem. Territory to work for - CIS (ex-USSR), Baltic's (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia).

What countries have you worked in?

Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Italy, UK.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

EU, Have valid visa for Russia (for 1 year), Ukraine, UK.

What field do you currently work in?

Commercial part of the security equipment (CCTV) manufacturer. Commercial sales office in Lithuania for the Baltic's, CIS (ex-USSR) and Scandinavia.

What fields have you worked in before?

Security and Investigation, Multinational WW USA corporation (IT manager for the Baltic States), Security Engineering (Project and Installation as Development, Tech and finally Managing Director).

What qualifications do you hold?

Military Economics Academy in Russia (1988). Received diploma in 2005 is approved by the State 'Comity assessment of the quality of education' as equal to University Degree. Program in Economics and Management (food production, storage, distribution for military forces). Academic degree.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are quite important, but my preference goes to the skills. Experience is acquired via the practice. In real b/life in most cases skills helping much more than education.

Describe the benefits of working with others

To share tasks and responsibilities. Properly settled b/target and properly assigned to employee's tasks making final result very attractive. Surely, control and reasonable discipline must be added.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Decision making, no need to control others, successful result associated to exact person.

What was your worst working experience?

Successful development for the regional office and rather positive result is sales for the assigned region having weak head quarter (in terms of the proper business development strategy presence) and as result complete stop for the product and business development by HQ.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Take own responsibility for the performed task. Convince your colleagues by your development strategy and ask them to support you.

What unique skills do you have?

Multinational sales skills (Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan). Ability to see complete strategy in action, segmented by exact tasks.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Regional Office or HQ for region Managing Director for the fast developing business. Responsibility for the production and sales operations (they are connected and cannot be independent each from other). Best slogan is: have ambitions - prove them by result!

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Public Relations, Live communication, new Tech, Ability to see most demanded by customers things.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Routine. I.e. - paperwork.

To which b/model you trust - based on the system or based on the people relation?

I am trust to the properly settled group of the people who able to lead other people, build b/model or b/system adding to this control and discipline.
