| Questions: What sort of prescribed medications are commercial Truck Drivers not My husband tore his achilles tendon last November, he's finally healed and ready to go back to work. He was hired at his previous company (before his accident) until he spoke with the medical dept. at the company, they said he has to be off of the percocet for 6 months before they hire him back. I totally understand that its a very dangerous job, and I understand why you can't take percocet, but 6 months seems a little excessive for him to wait. I can't find online at all about medicines that are allowed and not allowed for CDL class A drivers. If anyone knows the laws and lists of meds that you can and cant use while you have your CDL A I'd appreciate it!!!! By the way, we live in North Carolina |
