I am currently working in the capacity of supervisor for Caribou coffee in doha qatar What fields have you worked in before? I have worked in the Food Industry as Food Attendant & Bartender What qualifications do you hold? I am undergraduate of 2 yr. course Business Information System, I have been employed in Food Industry for more than 5 years. I am currently employed in Caribou Coffee as a Team Leader. I have gained certificates, passed verifications in first hand coffee concoctions.I am dedicated to work, hardworking, flexible and can work under pressure with minimal supervision. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills- I believe that diploma does not really matters for having a decent, stable job. It is about how you perform at work, what's important is that u know how to develop rapport,and you know how to absorb things & work with it effectively & dilligently. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others will push one to strive for the best and will always bring out the best in people especially when everyone is aspiring a higher goal. working with people will make one see both his good and bad points.We can also able to develop rapport. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone has more downsides than benefits but for me, it gives me peace and quiet giving me more time to concentrate on work and i do not have to give in to peer pressure. What was your worst working experience? The only thing i could say my worst working experience is when my colleague always trying to put me down for some reason that i do not know. But on the other hand it gives me inspiration to become a strong person.And let them know that we are one. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned that one can always become a better person by striving harder and finding other ways and means to make life more comfortable and worthwhile. What unique skills do you have? A skill that i have always been proud of is my giving things a sense of imporatnce.I always do my work as if it was the most imporatnt thing in my life or the greatest performance i will ever do.I make everyday a special day to do my job and i do it exceedingly well What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I have always believed that being happy in my chosen field is very important.if i will be compensated well, then that becomes a dream job for me.Since i was a young girl, i have often dreamed of travelling, seeing places and meeting new folks. to be part of a cruise ship's cabin crew would top it all.You get to enjoy the work you do and the work you love.This will be a start of something good and the future looks brighter if i will be given the chance to serve here. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Food and Beverage is one reason why people patronize a certain establishment.It broadens one's mind as to the preparation, the skill and most importantly, dedication to service.It also imbibes one to know the different cultures as to the dish/drink served. it also makes one knowlegeable of the proper etiquette. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Well, you get to do the same thing over and over making it routinary.You will be able to encounter unruly, irate or arrogant guests who will make your job more difficult.Also, the promise of a promotion can only be realized when your skills is matched with a formal training/education. Describe yourself I would describe myself to be an effective and efficient employee because i always get the job done not just satisfactorily but with the highest standards expected of me.
