| Answers: How can my boyfriend get help financially? His mother died suddenly last June, and his dad lives in Ohio, so it's just him, his 18 year old sister, and his one year old baby girl. He is 19. She didn't have life insurance or anything, so he's currently at rock bottom. He has lost his job, and social services is supposed to send him unemployment and food stamps, but we haven't seen anything yet. My parents try their best to help him out & I do too, but taking care of 3 other lives is hard work, because we're a family of 5 already. Please don't say "dump him and don't worry about it" because I wouldn't be posting this if I didn't care so much about him. And please don't criticize our lives. He's young, and depended on his mom before, but without her, he's lost. I've been trying my best to help, and he's been up to unemployment several times, and of course they failed to help, because they don't want to hear some "stupid" story about his life. We've sold all of his things in his home. (She left them the home, thank God.) And my family feeds them almost every night. He has searched and SEARCHED for a job. Last year he was wrongly accused of simple assault (pushing his little girls mom) Though he truely did not do it. The case goes back to court in AUgust, and hopefully gets dismissed, but for now, it holds him back from a lot of opportunities. He has no power, no heat, no food, nothing besides us and God as of right now. Does anyone know what to do? Because I'm lost. |
