| Article: Ohio Trying to Recover From Massive Job Losses Ohio is trying to recover from the recession and, to some degree, has fared better than other states. Unemployment in Ohio is currently 8.6 percent, down over 1.5 percent from a year ago. That's about all the good news on the Ohio employment front. Overall, Ohio has lost over 400, 000 jobs since 2006 with little hope of replacing them any time soon.Read the complete article here: |
| It is unfortunate to hear that so many are losing their jobs after working in them for years, and not being able to provide for their family. It makes for a very sad atmoshpere in many house. I only wish the mistakes made by big corporate owners and officials out of sheer selfishness would not affect so many people that had nothing to do with it. But fortunately there is always something to be learned from hardship. |
