| Answers: Just getting out of school for Drafting and Design? I have a certificate of completion for a 2 year program in Oklahoma. Is there a place where there actually ARE jobs in Drafting and Design? I have some experience in Mechanical, Architectural, Pipe, and Civil Drafting, as well as some 3d Modeling and Animation. I have experience with the following programs - AutoCAD, Autodesk 3DS Max, Chief Architect X1, AutoCAD Architecture, Solidworks, Rhinoceros as well as a complex knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word. I also received the Skilled Designation on every area of my Competency Certificate. I have completed the WorkKeys Assessment and got a 5 in Applied Mathematics, and a 4 on Location Information and Reading for Information. Upon completion of that I was awarded the Silver Oklahoma Career Readiness Certificate. I am willing to and would actually prefer to relocate out of the state of Oklahoma. I would be willing to relocate to Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, California, New York, and Massachusetts. Are there any industries or companies in those parts of the country that need Skilled Draftsmen?? |
