| Can not wrestling hurt my chances of getting a football scholarship? I'm 15, a sophomore in high school, in really good shape, i have great grades, and i'm really good at football. I only wrestle to stay in shape for football, but now i have access to a gym and i can stay in shape on my own. I don't really like wrestling but i still do it. If i didn't wrestle, i could get a job and/or do more community service which i've been told also looks good to recruiters. Do college coaches and recruiters look at other sports besides the sport they want you for (would they look at or even care if i wrestled or does it not matter)? I would like to go to the university of oregon and play for the ducks. Please help, if you know anything about the process or you've been recruited, please let me know how it went. Thanks so much. |
