Any businessman, who’s firm/company is established and registered with the Chamber of Commerce and holding a bank account in the name of the company, is eligible for an investor visa in Saudi Arabia.
2) What type of Visa will I get?
You will get an Investor Visa along with all your family (Spouse, Children, Parents and In-laws). You will also get visas for your personal driver and a maid
3) How much time would it take to get a business license?
It will take two to three months to get business/investor license.
4) What are the basic requirements to get a business license?
The basic requirements for getting a business license are:
a) Membership Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry
b) You are maintaining business bank account.
c) NTN Certificate
d) The basic funds to be shown in a bank at the place of residence, i.e. Pakistan, UK, Syria, USA etc, for a sole proprietorship are SR 250, 000/-; for a partnership SR 500, 000/- and for an industry SR 1, 000, 000/-.
5) Do we need Saudi Kafeel to invest in Saudi Arabia?
No, you do not need any Saudi Kafeel to get business license or to invest in Saudi Arabia.
6) Would I be able to shift my family to Saudi Arabia?
Yes, you will get visas for your parents, spouse and children.
7) What is the minimum investment required?
The minimum investment required for Sole Proprietorship is SR 250, 000/- and for Partnership is SR 500, 000/-.
8) Can I do business anywhere in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, you can start your business anywhere in Saudi Arabia.
9) Will I be able to get visas for my staff/labour?
Yes, you can get visas for labour/staff from any country you desire.
10) Which type of business could be done in Saudi Arabia?
Almost all sorts of businesses could be undertaken in Saudi Arabia, except a few, which fall under the national interest category, e.g. oil exploration, armed services, police and security, and which are listed in the negative list of the rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
11) How secure is Saudi investment environment?
Saudi Arabia is one of the most business friendly countries in the world. With abundance of its natural resources, it has also increased its manufacturing industry base significantly. The strength of its economy can be judge by the fact that the USA, Japan and UAE are major investors along with the other countries. The future projects like expansion of Makkah, Madina and other cities, have taken the interest of all major investors from all around the world.
12) Will I be able to perform Hajj & Umrah during my stay in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, you are allowed to perform Umrah anytime you desire throughout the year, but the Hajj could only be performed after three years from the date of the previous Hajj attended
13) Will I get visa for my parents?
Yes, you will be able to get visa for your parents
14) If I am an Iqama Holder of Saudi Arabia, can I get an investor visa?
Yes, you can get an investors’ visa if you are presently holding an Iqama of Saudi Arabia or had an Iqama up to the previous three years, by obtaining a no objection certificate (NOC) from your Kafeel (sponsor).
15) Will I be able to buy property in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, you will be able to open a bank account, buy property, including business and residential property, automobiles, after your certification from the Chamber of Commerce of Saudi Arabia has been granted
16) Will I be able to get bank loans?
Yes, you will be able to get bank loans upto the 50% of the total investment from licensed banks
