When working in a group setting, it is nice to be able to get input from other people and having people you trust around you allows ou to distribute work in an efficient manner thus achieving more than you could when working alone. Describe the benefits of working alone Sometimes working alone is the best solution especially if time is of the essences. Flying solo allows everything to be stream-lined especially the decision making process. It also has the plus of allowing the worker to have a clarity of purpose and allows for the flexibility to determin for himself what work gets done and when. What was your worst working experience? I honestly can say that I don't believe I have had a bad working experience. Even if a situation was "unenjoyable" at the time, I have always been able to look back on it and smile, realizing I learned a great deal from every work environment I have been in. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Probably the most important lesson I have learned is that nothing comes easy or free. When I first graduated from college I think I had this idea that since I had worked so hard and received my Bachelors degree that I was somehow entitled to certain things. I quickly learned that hard work, and a commitment to excellent service to others is really all that matters in the real world. No one owe you anything that you didn't not achieve through dedication and determination. What unique skills do you have? I have an excellent ability to quickly establish rapport with potential customers & co-workers. Once put into a particular role, people around me usually find out that I have many other talents that they we're unaware of. The result is that I usually end up taking on many responsibilities outside the scope of my original position. This is something I enjoy though! What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Astronaut :) - It requires complete dedication, the most extreme attention to detail, more than you average preparation :), the ability to quickly think on your feet and make important decisions, and in turn your rewarded with a deep job satisfaction and seeing & experiencing things you never thought you'd see. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? By far, the people I meet and deal with on a daily basis. I speak with people from all walks of life and all different personalities. Some are very likeable and easy to talk to and others are extremely demanding and high maintenance. In everyone though, there is always something I can find to admire about them. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Sometimes I feel that the field of IT recruiting is limiting. I want to expand my responsibilities and experience even further but opportunities to lead initiatives outside of the field don't come along everyday. How can potential employers contact you?
