What type of job are you looking for?

Senior Sales or Sales Management of document management services, including e-discovery and litigation support.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Professionally fluent in Spanish and English.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Panama.

Venezuela.

What field do you currently work in?

Document management, including but not exclusively, electronic discovery for litigation support.

What fields have you worked in before?

Sales, administration, business ownership, sales management for document management. Additionally, I have some expertize in surface drilling equipment sales.

What qualifications do you hold?

I am a trained, seasoned sales professional with the skills sets required for successful selling/negotiating to C+ executive suite of seven figure, multi year contracts. Also experience in government contract negotiations.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I am a seasoned professional, with over twenty years of domestic and international sales. As a persuasive communicator, with well-developed presentation skills, I am proficient in creating and maintaining productive relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels. Additional skills include, but not exclusively planning and executing business and sales plans.

My strengths include qualifying and closing sales opportunities, as well as building and maintaining long-term client relationships. Goal oriented, with excellent communications skills and strong follow up strategies, and a results driven professional sales executive.

Committed to providing clients with the highest level of consultative and professional services, with proven ability to consistently exceed personal, company goals, and manage leads to a high closing rate.

As an experienced manager of a large number of sales and support staff, additionally processing cross cultural sensitivity and keen market and business awareness. I have professional command of English and Spanish, with a keen understanding of cultural business sensitivities, having lived in Venezuela and traveled extensively through Latin America for business purposes.

My skill sets, professional presence, and business acumen and extensive experience make me a valuable asset to any organization.

Self discipline, focus, self reliance and determination are some of the most important skills necessary to succeed in working alone. Sometimes working alone will help shorten the sales cycle by not requiring consultations and consensus needed when working as a team.

What was your worst working experience?

Negotiating government contracts in South Florida.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Listening skills are the most important lesson I have learned in my career. To presume you know how the prospects think, what concerns them, the pressures they are subject to, and what they would like to hear, is an unsurmountable mistake that many sales people make.

What unique skills do you have?

People, conversational, consultative selling skills are some of the most important tolls in my skills sets.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Selling products/services for a financially stable company, with the necessary infrastructure to consistently deliver the goods or services contracted, and that will allow me to utilize my experience and skills to the best of my ability.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Every creates and utilizes documents containing vital information. These documents need to be accessed and researched frequently, and an electronic storage system is the only fiscally and efficient customer service method that must be used. Volumes alone make paper document handling expensive and inefficient.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The necessary task of explaining the electronics involved in e-storage to a non-electronic savvy prospect.
