English teacher

What nationality are you?

Filipino

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Tagalog and English

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I would like to work in New Guinea, any area I enjoy interacting with other nationality through teaching, from there, i believe i can learn a lot of things like culture, traditions and language

What countries have you worked in?

I worked in Korean international School in my country, Philippines

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

i have not gone to any country yet

What field do you currently work in?

I worked in Industrial Chatting Solutions, it is about selling products online

What fields have you worked in before?

I worked as a ESL camp teacher for foreign students and a private tutor

What qualifications do you hold?

I have a degree in teaching education and have an experience in teaching foreign nationals

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal education is valuable because it is in formal education where one will be trained in developing his skills and knowledge to become expert and competitive

Describe the benefits of working with others

working with others is fun and it is one way of learning new things as well as learning from mistakes through their comments and suggestions.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Although working with others is great, it is also good to work alone to focus and/or to concentrate in working on something i believe i can do it without the help of others and it also give me the chance to have my own decision

What was your worst working experience?

when i was disrespected by my student

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learned to be resourceful, smart, making the subject fun to teach and to learn at all times and be prepared always for a possible questions from the students

What unique skills do you have?

I do knitting bonnet

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

to own a business

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

teaching ESL through integration of culture and student's interests

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

traditional teaching
