Job seekerWhat type of job are you looking for? I'm looking for full time job What nationality are you? I'm russian What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Russian - native English - advanced Spanish - intermediate (but improving very fast) What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I'm looking for a job in Peru - I'm here already 4 month and I would like to stay in this country because I love it! I would like to work in one of the following fields: consultancy, education or business administration (especially business development)because it's related with my university education and also some personal experience and interests What countries have you worked in? Russia What countries do you have a visa to work in? Just Russia, visa for Peru is now under preparation process (trabajador independiente) What field do you currently work in? Now I'm learning language but my last job was in the university. I was student exchange manager and have been working in the international office of my business school. What fields have you worked in before? I'm a young specialist (just half a year after graduation) therefore I don't have that my experience however as I've mentioned before I was working in the university and besides that during all the 4 years of my university education I was working as private teacher of math. What qualifications do you hold? I'm bachelor in management (specialization - public administration. But as education in Russia is public I manly form the general field of public administration more interested in educational field. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Well this is a tricky question...It depends on valuable for what. Basically if you are applicant for a job position your skills will be most probably more useful that your education. Definitely to become a professional in your field you need to have skills. So for particular operation and task - skills are more valuable than Harward Diploma=) But skills are about your past, your experience....and education...for me education is always about future, it's something wider than skills that allows you to look at the situation from the top and not from the details. Skills are operations, education (and knowledge obtained from it!) is a strategy. Describe the benefits of working with others "A problem shared is a problem halved" "Two heads are better than one" "No man is an island" These all are quite basic proverbs that most of us know from the childhood. So that benefit from the working with others is described to us from childhood: - all together you can do more things faster Besides that each person is a world different from your own. Learning from other person and listening to new opinion always teach you to look at the world wider but unfortunately not all people are able to learn from others. Working with others is a way for "interdependent people" (Stephen R. Covey "The 7 habits of highly effective people") Describe the benefits of working alone Alone...you are the BOSS. You decide what to do and how, you opinion is unique and central. This is for more independent people, who are in search of there own ways and solutions. Working alone you also can be more effective than in a team and learn more from experience because you will be doing everything by your own, but as well as working with others some people can't work alone they need teem. Well as usually everything depends on personality. What was your worst working experience? I think it's still ahead as I don't have such a big working experience=)))))However I will keep a hope that it will never happen. Prefer to stay optimistic=)) What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never give up and always try to carry out any task or activity. What unique skills do you have? I'm very fast understand new information. I'm very easy to be taught, easy learning person. Also I'm very good at analyzing and structuring information. I have very high analytical skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To be a Minister of Education or for example world wide known professor that have created very useful theory. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? To see how education gives opportunity for everyone. To see how person grow under himself. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Filling up some operational papers, wasting time on technical repeating operations. What is a main aspect about the future job, what results do you want to see?? I know that the following phrase and the question by itself are quite ordinary, but simplicity is always good, isn't it?? The main thing for me is the recognition that everyday I'm doing something good for this world, let it be just a little bit, just something small, but I make the world better. I want to see children in Peru looking for opportunities, going further and not scaring to stop. I want to see children who are curious about the world and ready to learn, and who at the same time have all the opportunities to do that. I hope I didn't sound like candidate on Miss Universe=))) How can potential employers contact you?
