What field do you currently work in? Budget and Finance, as Accountant, in a National Government Agency in the Philippines. What fields have you worked in before? Almost 6 years of government budgeting and accounting. What qualifications do you hold? I'm a Certified Public Accountant by profession with almost six (6) years experience in my field. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education. Because if you do, you have an edge over those who have none. Skills, I believed, can be learned through time guided with proper education. Describe the benefits of working with others You will develop camaraderie and good sense of working relationship if you are to work with others. As a team mate, you have to exert effort in attaining the common goal. And for check and balance purposes, it surely help. Describe the benefits of working alone You can prove your self worth in doing so. And you have to be responsible and accountable because if you fail you are to answer for that. What was your worst working experience? It is when you have to work hard to attain a common goal and everybody seems not to be cooperating. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Being responsible and accountable for everything you do. What unique skills do you have? I am excellent in MS Excel applications. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To land in a job wherein you can say you are happy and you are loving every minute of it. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Well, when you are in the field of accounting you take part in decision making, especially financial aspects and even if beyond your field, for the good of everybody. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Working overtime to meet deadlines. And you cannot afford to commit a mistake because accounting is indispensable. It is the brain and blood of every organization. What is your ultimate career objective?
