Natural Filipino Citizen What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Tagalog and English. Tagalog is the language spoken here in southern part of the Philippines. English is my second languange which I can speak fluently. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Country like Singapore. I see myself working in Singapore because I can easily adjust with its culture. In terms of its economic standing being one of the most top players in asia, Singapore can give me stability in terms of securing my future. What countries have you worked in? Only in the Philippines. What countries do you have a visa to work in? None as of the moment. What field do you currently work in? Im currently working as Audit Manager in an insurance broker firm. What fields have you worked in before? I have exposure on Financial Institution working as Audit Head for three years. I also work as Accountant for a manufacturing firm for a year. What qualifications do you hold? Im a Certified Public Accountant and currently taking my Masters in Taxation. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both. Learning starts on a formal education where you will learn the technical aspect. Skills are developed the moment you put into practice what you have learn in the formal education. Describe the benefits of working with others Learning. Every individual has a different skills. Through working with others, who are given the chance to interact, communicated and eventually learn from others. Describe the benefits of working alone Full concentration and full accountability. What was your worst working experience? When I came to a Board Meeting unprepared because I prioritized other work. What I did is, still attend the meeting, explained to the Management why I am not prepared, and give some inputs on the agendas. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Loving the work that supports you, love the people arounds you, and always be the best in everything you do. What unique skills do you have? I have good interpersonal skill and leadership skill. I love working with people and learn from them. I lead youth organization here in the Philippines. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being the Chief Financial Officer or Chief Audit Executive of a billion dollor company. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Working with numbers, financial data and risk assessment. Everyday is a challenging work. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The clerical work such as filling. Why should a potential employer hire you? I have the technical skill which I have learned through formal education and I have the skill which I have gained through extensive years of experience.
