Seeking Marketing job opportunities What type of job are you looking for? Sales or Marketing management job for expatriates in the Philippines. What nationality are you? I am a Singaporean Chinese national. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Fluent English & Mandarin Chinese, with basic Japanese fundamentals. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Preferably in the Luzon region in or around Manila. Currently holding onto a working visa in the Philippines, but will be downgraded to a tourist visa soon as mine project work is done in the current company. What field do you currently work in? Automotive air-conditioning systems manufacturing. Will be in the Philippines until 30th Septmber'11. What fields have you worked in before? Sales administration in home elcetrical appliances, Mechanical parts sales, construction equipments leasing, Marketing of automotive systems etc. What qualifications do you hold? Bachelor of Business in Marketing & e-Commence from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are equally important and learning is a lifetime process, which determines the continuous growth of one's wealth in knowledge. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone is less complicated and has complete freedom. What was your worst working experience? Most of mine working experiences are pleasant and professional, but the worst working experience I had is being placed in a position that did not allow room to excel. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Communication is critical in developing good lasting working relationship with your clients and colleages. Ability to understand the market & promote in a professional manner, building customer relationships and trust, and creative in providing solutions and great business ideas. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working in a well established MNC company that has the right management and working teams, condusive working environment, good company growth potential, and a reasonable pay package for the contributions. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? It is always dynamic and different in various different industries, but few has venture to maximize its makreting potentials due to various internal reasons...mostly financial and that is always the challenge. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
