Looking For Any Job Available in USA

What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for any type of job abroad especially in the USA. It can be any job in a food chain, in a manufacturing firm, in a department store, or shops, bars and coffee shops.

What nationality are you?

I am a Filipino.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak English fluently. That's my second language. I can easily comprehend in both verbal and written communication.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Preferably I want to work in USA, to any States, to any place. I found out that USA is one of the top countries for migration. And I know that different types of people from different folks and races are together in the States nowadays. And it is really my desire to interact with them, regardless of their attitude, race and status.

What countries have you worked in?

I have never been to any countries for work yet. But I am currently working in a university, while finishing my studies in Information Technology this coming March 2011. Honestly, I am a working student for almost 4 years now, and looking for a job abroad after I graduate soon.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I don't have any visa yet. But I already have a passport valid for 5 years.

What field do you currently work in?

I work in a university for almost 4 years now. I currently assigned in the Electronic Data Processing Office for almost two years. I do computer jobs there, encoding enrollment of students, printing gradesheets and class lists of teachers. I also respond the other offices connected to us to troubleshoot network connections and some other computer problems.

What fields have you worked in before?

In a university where I currently work in, I was previously assigned in a Chem/Bio/Physics Laboratory for a year. I handle students' requests for their supplies and equipments, and assist them with their laboratory experimentation. In the 2nd year, I was assigned to the Dean's Office. I handled office works there, responded a lot of requisitions manually or via telephone or email.

What qualifications do you hold?

I am a graduating college student this coming March 2011. I take up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I am a working student. I worked in the school in the morning, and study in the afternoon til night.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I am sure both are valuable. Because through Formal Education, necessary skills will be acquired. And through Skills, we all know that experience is the best teacher.

Describe the benefits of working with others

The benefits of working with others is that, you know how other things are correctly done which you don't know. A teamwork and brainstorming will then take place in working with others.

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits of working alone is that, you can focus more, work creatively, think deeply and perform comfortably with no distractions from others.

What was your worst working experience?

I've been so dedicated with the works that have been offered to me. And so far, I have tried not to experience any worst things in it. Because I believe, that worst things in a job, only occur when you do something wrong.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

In my current career, I have learned a lot out from being a working student.I have learned how to manage my time in work, study and others in an effective and most efficient way. I have also learned how to be responsible to my job description and how to deal and handle pressures in the midst of time.

What unique skills do you have?

I am creative in graphic designs using Photoshop and preferably into Model Fashion shots.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My dream job is something that I can find not in my country, but in the other country -- USA. But a good foundation of my dream job, started in my own country.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Honestly in my field, I do programming, but not really good. I love web designing and wants to learn more. I would love to do more on computer designs, encoding, and making reports and letters.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

In my field, I have tried everything on it, but have not mastered on it. So I cannot consider this as Least Interesting Aspects.

Give me some reasons why to hire you.

I have a lot of reasons but primarily, my dream is to work abroad and I found USA would be the place where I fit the most, because I love to interact different types of people. The biggest reason is to work hard to earn more so I can send some of my salary to my family and help my younger sisters finish their studies, too. Because I know I cannot earn more when I work in my country.
