What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work in Malaysia as it's proximity in location to my homeland and some similarity with our culture. Another reason is, Malaysia is known for it's desire to strengthen and enhance her global competitiveness.

What countries have you worked in?

Philippines, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Libya

What field do you currently work in?

I am a Lecturer in Internal Medicine and Fundamentals of Nursing.

What fields have you worked in before?

I am a Charge Nurse in a Tertiary hospital here in the Philippines.

What qualifications do you hold?

I finished a degree in MAN.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider both as formal education teaches the students the " why's " and the skills the " how ". Teaching only the " why's " isn't enough assurance that the students will learn especially if the students are of tactile type, whereas teaching only the " how " will not teach the students why they need to perform a skill.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others is beneficial as it allows each faculty to engage in an intellectual discussion and sharing of knowledge.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone gives you an opportunity to reflect on what one has achieved / fulfilled for that day and may augment some changes for the betterment of his / her job.

What was your worst working experience?

I have no worst experience as I always keep in mind to be alert and cautious at all times. In a field where a patient's life is at stake, no mistake / errors should crop up.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

The most important lesson I have learnt was, seeing my students achieve their maximum potential, wherein ( modesty aside )I took part to it, is something that money can't buy.

What unique skills do you have?

I am adept in the latest technology in the medical field.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

I would consider my being a Clinical Instructor as my dream job. I am satisfied and fulfilled here in the academe.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The most interesting aspect in my field happens in the clinical area wherein I saw my students dealing with their patient intellectually and professionally. Also, during an interactive discussion.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

None as I always managed to keep it interesting so the students will also feel the same. I believed that keeping the students interest to the subject matter will keep them more glued to the discussion or any learning opportunity.

How will the students benefit from you?

My students will benefit from the vast experience I had, be it in the Clinical or Classroom setting. I will be very generous in imparting the knowledge I gained through the years.
