What countries have you worked in? Japan,, Worked as welding inspector, living in Tadustu, working for Kawada ind, inspecting bridges being built for middle east. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Do not have visa at pressent, will look into asap for phillipines What field do you currently work in? Travel and tours, At pressent i take people on tours of Scotland telling about the history ect, I drive coaches, HGV2 and chauffeur work. What fields have you worked in before? Close protection Chauffeur Driver Coach tours Sales What qualifications do you hold? None at pressent due to being out of close protection, but would be happy to resit if need be, expired in 1997,My other jobs dont need qualifications. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills,, I learned most of my skill due on site training,, My late father was welding inspector, and my training was mainly on site, so i took on my late father advice and training. Describe the benefits of working with others Gets the job done quicker and help some problims, that some of us may of have overlooked, Describe the benefits of working alone Im use to working alone, and doing all my checks and prepairing knowing my lay out for the days running. Doing it yourself, means there should be no errors. What was your worst working experience? Touch wood,, Never had any, maimly because sometime depending on the job,, I double or tripple check. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To be open minded, and listen to other peoples ideas, after all, they could be better than your own, keep an open mind, always. What unique skills do you have? Presentation, its important in my pressent job, as it sells.first impression is the make or break,,Those first words you say, people will say, Im going to enjoy this trip or not,,. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Many years ago, i wanted to work in executive car sale and aircraft selling, today i would still like to be in that field, but not within the UK. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Seeing those happy faces and people saying how much they have enjoyed there trip. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? there are not as many people traveling by coach those days so waiting for the next tour is getting less often. Also doing two or three jobs to earn a living is now in question.
