I currently have a mornings only position as office manager/ accountant/ computer maintenance in a medium sized company with an office staff of 16. I also do other accounts and web-site design work.

I have had 2 of my own businesses (had 2 retail jewellery stores from 1984 to 1992) as well as doing accounting work for many businesses.
What qualifications do you hold?
I have a National Diploma in Cost Accounting plus some credit towards a B. Comm.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
Skills are far more valuable than formal education. Hands on experience can't be taught in any lecture room.

The ability to concentrate on completing a project unassisted is very rewarding.
What was your worst working experience?
Having to close a business down & retrenching staff was heart breaking

Managing a Harley-Davidson dealership.

Why do you want to re-locate to Portugal?
My fiance' is Portuguese, and has shown me the quality of life in Portugal is far better than my home country, South Africa, where the prospects for a happy retirement are rapidly receding.
