Looking for work in Portugal

What type of job are you looking for?

I am willing to do any work. I am a Portuguese national. I speak English and Portuguese.I Have worked in the UK and India with people from various nations. I can get along well and work in a team as well as on my own initiative. I am a graduate, presently working as an administrator with a Charity in India. I am looking for any work in Portugal as I wish to relocate to Portugal.

Portuguese

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English very fluently Portuguese fluently

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Algarve, Portugal or any place associated with tourism as I feel there is scope for English speakers there

What countries have you worked in?

UK and India

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

India

What field do you currently work in?

Administrator of a Charity based in Goa, India.

What fields have you worked in before?

Data Entry, Receptionist, Filing and Record clerk in the Portuguese Consulate in Goa for for more than 13 years. Independent Distributor for Herbalife Products Guitar tutor.

What qualifications do you hold?

Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are important. Formal education provides the background (knowledge) of what to expect in real life. Working enables one to get down to the nitty gritty/apply what we have learnt in order to get the job done or to arrive at the best solution. Ofcourse there are instances in life where formal education does not prepare you for the practicalities of life and one learns on the job.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Lasting relationships/friendship. A sense of being appreciated and accepted. Some jobs require team work.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Less hassles and the opportunity to concentrate on the task at hand.

What was your worst working experience?

Irrelevant paperwork when I was working as an Admin. trainee.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

There is no end to learning.

What unique skills do you have?

Fast keyboard skills. Able to prioritize and organize effectively. Able to visualise and plan.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A job wherein my superiors and clients are well pleased.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The opportunity to think for myself and execute (put into action)
