Hi, 2 of my friends and i are going to be travelling down to portugal for summer this year and will be looking for work.

We are 3 25year olds australian/ kiwi and canadian)and have over 5 years experience doing bar work and waitressing. Also have experinece in all aspects of hotel operations.

We are very friendly, hard working and reliable girls and are wanting to have the best summer of our life in lagos, so if anyone has any info or advice about picking up work in a fun environment to help us fund our stay then please get in touch!

We will be arriving in lagos around the middle of july but could be persauded to come earlier if we have a job lined up and will be available to stay for as long into the season as required!

cheers everyone!

Hi,

I'm a 23 year old Australian looking for bar work in Lagos. I have worked in a london pub, along with several pubs back home. I'm an extremely hard worker and very reliable.

Basically I'm looking for an amazing summer and I've been told Lagos is the place to be.

If you have any information to how I can get work there, please be in touch with me. Hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers

Hey guys, i worked in a bar called Mickey Gs in Lagos last summer and im hoping to come back again this year. Work is pretty easy to come by, as people are always moving about etc and theres always flyering jobs for bars (the best job in my opinion! Same money and a lot more chilled out!)

As far as i know, most of the bars dont have websites or at least i cant find any, so i think the best bet is to just look when you get there. You wont be out of work for long.

Last summer, the average pay was 20euros a night and most apartments were about 15 a night, so dont expect to make money!! If you havnt got any accomadation lined up, i really recommend Carlos House hostel (search on wwww.hostelworld.com), i stayed there for a week, and its a really great hostel.

Hope that was of some help!

xxxx
