Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal education and skills go hand in hand, there cannot be one without the other. During the learning years one gains valuable knoweledge, however it is necessary to put the theorectical into practise and to do this during the later years at university a practical project can be undertaken to help acomplish this, nonetheless employers still look more at the practical experience than theory. Why ?, this is because an employee who can go into the field and complete tasks with little or no supervision is more valuable than one who needs supervision.

Describe the benefits of working with others

The main benifit of working with others are a project can be split into various parts and each part can be assigned different indivuals who have the necessary knoweledge to complete. Therefore in theory the project can be completed on time provided that all can complete his or her part.

Describe the benefits of working alone

One of the main benefits of working alone is that you are in control of all, however the pressures can be high as depending what is the area of work involved and timescale to complete projects.

What was your worst working experience?

Not Working

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

The most important lesson anyone will learn is honesty, as this builds trust in any field.

What unique skills do you have?

The main skill that I have developed is to communicate with people from all walks of life and many cultures, to learn to accept their ways of doing things even if personally I think they are wrong

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To this I would say there is no dream job, however if by working and it benifits all and not just myself then I will be happy.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The Most interesting aspect of any field are the discovery of new ideas and putting them to work for the benefit of all.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The least interesting aspects could be the clerical side as parts of it for me do not always produce results.

Why do employers always look to the younger generation.

This has always been in the forfront of attracting prospective employees, as possibly they see that a raw recruit in the long term will be more valuable than an experienced applicant, however in todays market various laws prohibit age discrimination therefore experienced applicants would be more advantagous as they can carry out their work without much supervision.
