I know there's a lot of English speaking people in the Algarve, so I figured this is the best place for me to live if this move happens. What countries have you worked in? GSCE's in English, Math & Humanities. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills. Anyone can do a job. What was your worst working experience? Being attacked by my Manager. I accidently startled him when I dropped a pallet close to him. It was a complete accident & even though I sincerely apologized, I still got a kick in the testicales. Bizarre work experience. One I'll never forget though. Treat everyone with respect, Including staff. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Treat colleagues with respect. What unique skills do you have? I'm good with people. Especially irate people. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? CEO of my own Bus Company. I've loved buses ever since I was a little boy. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Meeting different people. Being on the road, you see more of what's going on in life than you would in sitting in an office. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Nasty people with bad intentions. What can you offer to the Algarve? I can be a huge help to tourists in the area. Offer them advice & guidance to where they need to go & how to get there. I'm also very interested in learning Portuguese. I wouldn't want to be ignorant & not learn the national language. I'm excited at the prospect of moving to Portugal & believe that enthusiasm would rub off on the work I produce.
