HSE - Health Saftey and Environmental Manager Our client is a leading manufacturer of all types of cables from fibre optic communication to electric cables at the highest voltage and technology. In Qatar, they are involved in projects up to 400, 000 volts which are major underground transmission lines. At this voltage, our client sell their product as part of a turnkey project, ie survey, design, manufacture, shipping, installation, jointing, testing, commissioning and maintenance. The nature of the work is similar to public works infrastructure projects eg sewers, water pipelines etc. They can often have well in excess of 1km of trench open at any time in congested city areas and must consider how their works interface with traffic, local patrons and the general public.The Safety Manager should be:- Suitably qualified Ideally completely literate in English and Arabic Capable of interfacing with site staff and the general public.
