QC Inspector (Electrical & Instrument)
• Cathodic Protection:
Installation inspection of anode’s, sacrificial anodes, grounding cell’s, bonding posts, JB stands, stud-up conduit for JB’s, cable laying, CAD welding, potential test of sacrificial anodes, grounding cells, calibration and installation of reference electrode, coupen reference probe in cooling water line, oxygen line and vent lines.
• Electrical
1. Installation inspection of grounding cable, inspection of ‘C’ crimp including bitumatic paint coating and tape.
2. Installation inspection of ground rods and resistance test.
3. Installation inspection of duct bank and stub-up conduit.
4. Cable laying inspection in transformer yard.
5. Receiving and installation inspection of equipment.
• Instruments:
1. Installation inspection of stub-up conduit.
2. Installation inspection duct bank.
3. Installation inspection’s belongs to Pilot Plant in JUEG-1.
My experience spans more than 7 year, working in heavy constructions as well as operational QA/QC instrument inspector India and Saudi Arabia. The environment I worked in include major construction activates and decommissioning of old plant moreover , I was challenging overseeing the day to day activities of maintenance crews in highly –hazardous petrochemical & natural gas industries.
Prepare daily inspection documents and final acceptance documents prior to project completion. Maintain close working relationship with the construction personnel and with the customer representatives
Involved in the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up both in instrumentation and operation aspects during the construction phases of the project. Also prepare loop folder including as instrument index, instrument data sheet, p&id, loop drawing, elementary wiring diagram, control logic diagram, and control and inter lock narrative, calibration, and loop checking, of various process control instrumentation.
My past job involved the handling calibration for all projects (lab calibration, field calibration) in sharq petrochemical plant. Experience in the maintenance of preventive & breakdown, major, minor shutdown. Loop checking, function check& continuity checking from field to junction box & control room. Annual & bi-annual site calibration of all field and control instruments loop. Faultfinding and corrective as per process requirements. Full servicing, calibration and commissioning of any type of electronic and pneumatic instrument such as level transmitter, flow & pressure transmitters, indicator, etc. All type of control room panel instrument such as flow & pressure controller, alarm panel etc. (make: Foxboro, Kent, Taylor, Rosemount, fisher) all type of air, gas and steam regulator. Have worked on all type of control valve such as flow control, pressure, temp control, and level controls(make: fisher, Masonilan , Kent-Introl orbit & betties etc) can fully dismantle, service, replace defective parts reassemble, test and calibrate any type of control valves actuator valve positioner and limit switches for example: actuator valve dismantling, replacing old diagram, gland packing , valve plug and seat if necessary, lapping plug and seat for tight shut off and body test to process specification requirement .have done all type of cable glanding, junction boxes termination and testing in safe & hazardous area on classified enclosures (site junction boxes positive pressure enclosures and control room instrument termination panels).can carry out any job independently for under supervisor by engineer and can also handle a work force for routine and major shut down jobs
