I am South African but lived in Doha from 1999 to 2003. My parents still live in Doha What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English - I am a qualified teacher majoring in English. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am looking for work in Qatar because I lived there before and know that it is a safe, exciting place to live and work. What countries have you worked in? Qatar and South Africa What countries do you have a visa to work in? My parents live in Qatar, so I will come in on thier sponsorship. What field do you currently work in? Teaching What fields have you worked in before? Education, Sales and Promotions What qualifications do you hold? Bachelors Degree in Education and a Honours Degree in Education Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think both are equally important. Skills development is important because it allows for practical exposure to situations. Formal Education is important because it allows us to aquire the knowledge that we need to put our skills into practice. Describe the benefits of working with others I enjoy working with other people beacuse of the wealth of knowledge that others carry. It is always interesting to learn about other people beliefs, cultures, dreams and ambitions. Describe the benefits of working alone In working alone, you get a sense of accomplishment. I tend to work more diligently when I work alone. What was your worst working experience? Have not had one yet. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Patience is an incredibly important trait to have. What unique skills do you have? I am organised,have excellent people skills and am great at problem solving What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I enjoy working with people. So anything that involves interaction with people will make me happy. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Passing on knowledge and seeing that it is being absorbed. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Planning takes a long time - there is no glamour in that. Why should you be hired?
