What field do you currently work in?
I work as a Kinder teacher at an international preschool here in the Philippines.
What fields have you worked in before?
I have worked as an interior designer before i shifted careers to become a Preschool teacher.
What qualifications do you hold?
I am a few units shy of a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education at De La Salle University. I have a professional teaching license and have had experience teaching children with special needs for three years.
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I would say both. I value formal education because I have gained more knowledge and the skills needed to acquire more knowledge about the career I am pursuing. I also value the skills I have learned through work because it makes my formal education concrete.

Working with others is fun. It also gets the job done quickly. Working with others also improves your social skills and strengthens your relationship with the people you work with.

Working alone gets you to control the situation. You are able to decide without seeking the consensus of a group.
What was your worst working experience?
None so far.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
The most important lesson I have learned throughout my career is that we continuously learn - from our experiences or from other people.
What unique skills do you have?
I can tell captivating stories complete with costumes or props, actions and voice changes.
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
My dream job would be as a teacher in a classroom where I can have full access to any material or resource I would be needing to teach a wonderful bunch of 3 and 4 year old children.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
I am not only a teacher but a mommy, nurse, actress, singer, dancer, painter, storyteller, coach, referee, repair woman, best friend and much, much more.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
I have not found anything uninteresting in teaching so far.
