Formally in Rural finance and enterprise development at the rural level in an NGO. What qualifications do you hold? Degree of Micro finance and community economic developmet(Uganda martyrs university Nkozi) Diploma in savings and credit cooperative organisation and micro finance management. Diploma in project planning and entrepreneurship development. Diploma in cooperatives and business administration.All of Uganda cooperative college, Certificate in ICT,along side a number of TOT Training opportunities,in Uganda. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills,because these live the test of time and we need them especially for developing countries of Africa however coupled with Intergirty and result oriented service provision knowledge as a basis for a holistic developing community globally. Describe the benefits of working with others More knowledge attained. Understanding of other performance avenues from different perspective of life,in building a team,more values are shared with more adverse benefits related to scioc-social and economic for development Describe the benefits of working alone May work for communist personalities but may not come with results.am not part to this. What was your worst working experience? When, my ground for failure to make one farmer understand how visioning would be a benefit to their daily prosperity,was persived as a weakness,yet for all the time i had trained and done consultancy work with institutions in income generating activity groups i had never registered such a remark by the persons who gave me assignment. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Development is gradual. We ougt to be good listeners to make right discussions. Dealing with the rural poor calls for understanding their different abilities in performance esp.in economic terms. Participatory learning/duty performance builds the potential of those u are working with. Involvement of the rural poor in solving their problems,makes them appreciate the services rendered as their own and so own it for prosperity. What unique skills do you have? Good interpersonal relations,communication,training and facilitation skills,working in both rural and urban areas,listening,proposal development and implementation,book keeping and accountability related expertise,enterprise development and management,groups formation and management to mention. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job has been managing an existing or new successful rural gired globally recoganised project and seeing it grow to heights internationally appreciated as having routes in my contribution as role player definitely along side a well and strong h built team by me,especially in rural finance and working with the poor. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Working with community,strengthns personal abilities to deal with life uncertainties and perception of handling challenges of life because many are face out there in the community. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The rural poor have a wrong perception of knowing that they will always be given because,they are looked at as vulnerable.so no wonder the dependency syndrome.
