I think that both are important, and the complete each other. But the skills are prominent, because you can teach everybody how to fish, but is just with experience, with the field knowledge that comes the best professionals. In the formal education you can make people aware of the issues and solutions, but just with the skill you can really see if the person learned well and knows how to implement measures and policies. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others mean exchange and multicultural experience. With the share, one can grow up and learn from each other experiences. Besides that in helps on the personality too, because one can learn how to respect each other opinions and work together for the goal achievement. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone means that one have more independence in the decision, which means a great challenge to the person. One can use his creativity and show his personal skills. It means a more focused and fast experience of work. What was your worst working experience? I cannot say that i had a worse working experience. I had some moments in few experiences that made me wonder about the purpuse of the work. For example, i had this moment in Amnesty International, where i had to organize an international conference, and one of the speakers was a refugee without permission to leave his host country. And for moments i thought that the conference could be ruined with the possible arrival of the Imigration Services closing the doors because of the presence of a "clandestine" speaker. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Several times you're not recognized for the work you do,because you're part of one organization. But the most important is to see the changes and to help people cary a smile when they think about their lives and opportunities that sometimes we can offer. What unique skills do you have? I have a unique skill of creating empathy with people, especially in the field. It's important to ensure that the organization has someone with the skill of starting a clear and encouraging communication, to persuade possible partners and even the target groups of the actions. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would be the Coordination of a project or a post as Assistant in Comunication or in Administration. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The ability to easily communicate and exchange experiences, the possibility to work for small changes and see the improvement at least for the local community, and be able to share experiences with different cultures and people. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Sometimes it means living with really limited conditions, to see everything destroyed by armed conflicts and wars and the issues that can come with local administrations that can hamper the development of organizations goals. Why any organization should chose me? I think that i have the skills and experience to work as an added value to any organization or companie that hire me. I am persuaded that my ability of organize, my versatility and ability to adapt to different environments showed has been proved by the fact that i am from an african country, but managed to live and work in european countries.
