This training is aimed to teach youth self respect, community respect, and overall important values (Respect, Empathy, Self Sufficiency, Productivity, Empowerment, Cooperation, Tolerance) A.S.I.S.T. (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and safeTALK 2009. This training covers the types of suicide prevention (prevention, intervention, postvention), addressing the concerns of persons at risk, assessing the suicide risk level, and how to contract a safe plan. New Brunswick Volunteer Sector Research October 2008-February 2009. I worked with government representatives to create a survey targeting provincial Non Profit Organizations and charities to collect data about demographics, funding, linguistics, and relationship with the government. Findings were presented to government representatives and a follow up report outlining recommendations was distributed throughout the volunteer sector of New Brunswick.
