Formal education or skills and why? I believe that a formal education proves play a pivitol role in getting your foot in the door for an interivew with any employer, however it is job-specific skills and experience that will lead to an individual being successful in any role and ultimately achieving and succeeding their aims. Describe the benefits of working with others As well as being able to learn from others I enjoy working as part of a team as it presents you with the opportunity for people with different outlooks and approaches to make suggestions and work together to reach a goal in the quickest and most efficient way. Describe the benefits of working alone You are able to focus all of your attentions into the take in hand and make decisions based solely on your judgement and initiative. What was your worst working experience? Working in a hardware store whilst studying at college. It involved a lot of manual labour and long hours, which confilcted with my studies. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Communication. In every role I have occupied I have found that through successfully and constructively communicating your views and opinions you will often be able to find a solution to the task you are working on and tackle it in the right manner. This is also important for expressing concerns in order for improvements to be implemented and controlled. What unique skills do you have? As well as possessing an impressive degree of maturity for my age, I have the ability to get on and work with all types of people, regardless of their age, backgrounds, beliefs etc. This has proved to be invaluable when it comes to me working as part of a team and helping to train other people. I am highly motivated and possess very good communication skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would love to find myself managing a team of people where I am responsible for their career development and well being, regardless of the industry. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? My job currently involves a lot of work with computers and speaking with a lot of people on the phone. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with people and helping to find a solution to their problems. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? There is not a lot of diversity in my current role and I often find myself doing the same tasks on a repetitve basis. What is the most interesting and exciting thing you have done during your life? In 2010 I embarked upon a 7 month world tour of the world, which saw my travel 13 countries and experiencing a wide range of different cultures. During this time I took part in various exciting adventures and excursions including scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, Galcier Treking in New Zealand and climbing the Andes Mountains in Peru whilst taking part in the Inca Trail.
