I work for local organization, Kids of Mombasa Programme. What fields have you worked in before? Teaching - Primary Level, Community Development Organizations and Business Organizations. What qualifications do you hold? Certificate in IT Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is a preparatory to skills. Therefore what matters to me most is skills as it leads to positive results in every undertaking and very efficient and economical as need to train is not a pressing issue. Describe the benefits of working with others ...together we stand firm, divided we fall apart... exactly explains the positive achievement a teamwork may make. As a former classroom teacher, I witnessed an achievement we made as a panel working together for one common goal. Today I would embrace such achievement at any place of work. Describe the benefits of working alone Sole workers are proned to work efficiently and competently as in their shoulder lies a load. What was your worst working experience? At Restoration Orphanage Centre when the management could not adhere to their words and when they could not pay up the teachers their salaries. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have a role and a big role to play and I have the strength and ability to move on. My skills, power and knowledge are just too excellent when expoited and can build up a better future in any undertaking. What unique skills do you have? The art of motivating fellow workmates to achieve expected results. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Sitting in the Management team of a successful Company. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? My field of work is flexible. I've alot duties that I can undertake easily without any problem. Working in school environment moulded me to became general and keen and realistic. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The un interesting side is when given a job that is far away from my expection that cannot get close even when expanded to match the interest. What are achievements made in the entire field? Today I count myself successful as I have worked for the local organizations making them reaching their objectives. A commercial firm and getting expected results.
