DISCRIMINATION AGAINST NIGERIANS IN SENEGAL

THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN ON FOR THE PAST ONE WEEK AND ONE DAY TODAY.

THE SENEGALESE GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN GOING DOOR TO DOOR HERE IN SENEGAL ARRESTING NIGERIANS IN HER COUNTRY WITH NO RECORD OF CRIME ON THE VICTIMS.

OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS HAVE BEEN DETAINED BY THE SENEGALESE GOVERNMENT WITH NO EVIDENCE OF CRIME BUT ONLY THAT THEY ARE NIGERIANS.

MORE THAN 200 NIGERIANS INCLUDING MALE AND FEMALES HAS BEEN SENT TO DIFFERENT ARMY BARRACKS WHICH WE CANNOT LOCATE.

I WAS THINKING THAT WE ARE AFRICANS BUT WHEN IT COMES TO POLICE BRUTALITY, ILLEGAL DETAINMENT OF WOMEN IN ARMY BARRACKS AND UNLAWFUL DEPORTATION IN THE MIDDLE OF A DESERT IN MALI FOR THE DEPORTEES TO ROAM IN WILDERNESS I THINK THAT IS CALLED WICKEDNESS.

WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP FROM THE WHOLE WORLD TO LOOK INTO IT AND TO YOU OUR TRUSTED NEWS PROVIDERS TO ACT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

TOMORROW IS OUR DAY OF PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION...

WHAT DOES ECOWAS STANDS FOR???

I heard of this situation. I am wondering what is the status of our fellow AFricans of Nigerian region these days.

Please do give me a follow up on this when time permits.

I have visited Senegal several times and i have always felt very proud of the way i saw AFricans from all over the region come to find there home and work in Senegal.

This was very disturbing news for many of us here in the states, African americans, Senegalese and Nigerians alike.

They need to lock up the cybercafe operators' (secretaries) that help them by assisting in forging documents, making photocopies with fraudulent passports & running internet scams 9-5 in their 'offices' every day and taking up all the computers!

It's a business, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. You can't win all the time.
