SUMMARY

I have been managing the beverage process flow for over five years in the food & beverage sections and I am someone with a great sense of organization with lots of creativity and I like innovating new ideas. I am a hard worker on the field and my leadership skills are democratic and I have always coped under pressure. During my time at Le Prince Maurice a five star deluxe hotel as acting Bar Manager I was working with a team consist of twenty-five persons and coaching individual on the job to ensure their personal growth and a Japanese restaurant was also under my responsibility. I was also acting as food & beverage duty manager as additional duties and my role was to ensure proper running for each f&b sections. Furthermore, I have also coach my team for national cocktails competition where we have been runner-up three times and to end my lifetime achievement at Le Prince Maurice was when the Lounge Bar was awarded best bar relais&Chateau 2008. Acting Bar manager I/c acting F&b duty manager at Le Prince Maurice hotel situated at Post de Flacq, Choisy road.

Le Prince Maurice hotel is a five star deluxe and is a member of relais chateau and have achieved many awards during my time there. My tasks were to overlook 4 bars operations starting as from six thirty in the morning till closing. There is one Main Bar, which operates for lunch and in the evening as the Japanese restaurant and also service for aperitif and digestif service where a live band plays every evening. In the other hand there is a Dispense bar, a SPA bar and a Classics Lounge Bar open from 16.00 pm till closing and is served also as a cigar corner. (The lounge bar was awarded best relais & chateau lounge for 2008).

August 2005 to September 2007: Assistant Head Barman at Le Prince Maurice Hotel.

March 2005 to 31 July 2005: Barman and Trainer at Le Prince Maurice Hotel where I had the challenge to train all waiters and barmen to meet the hotel standard of service at the time I joined.

-MIDORI AWARD 2007 PROJECT ORGANISER (bartender’s internal pre-selection for this award with an action plan on J-Days basis. Preliminary final held on the 6th September 2007 at the Hotel school of Mauritius and presented by IBL LTD.) And selected for the final amongst sixty participant and the final were held on the 21st of September 2007. (CLPM was Awarded the 3rd Prize)

-MARIE BRIZARD (Presented by SCOTT) BARTENDERS COMPETITION INTERNAL PRE-SELECTION PROJECT ORGANISER which the final was held at the SIR GAETAN DUVAL HOTEL SCHOOL OF MAURITIUS ON THE 18th November 2007.
