Foreigners who come to work in Syechelles have no reason to lie about such things as forex and disobedient school students. The fact that they leave the Seychelles is evidence of the truth of this and should not be automatically sniped at by Seychellois who seem to believe that the Seychelles is perfect. I have worked in many countries and visited many more (including two holidays in the Seychelles) and I am quite aware that each country - especially those who rely on tourist money - has two faces. One is the nice, polite, pleasant face that beams at you if you're a tourist bulging with money. Then, there is the other face often reserved for the foreigners who work there for a living. These are often paid a lot more than the natives (usually because they have the necessary skills that the natives do not). Resident foreigners in developing countries are often victimised, insulted and despised. Should they dare to comment or complain about such treatment they get silly remarks such as appear in this forum. Those of you who make these remarks might bear in mind that the foreigners you throw your remarks at, are considered necessary by the authoritites in the Seychelles to help to lift your country into the real world where it can contribute something instead of sit there taking money off tourists. Personally, I would love a teaching job in the Seychelles because I have worked in many places and would have no problem living and working there. Dave
