What languages do you speak (and at what level)? i can speak my native dialect cebuano but i can speak our national dialect tagalog fluently and i can speak and write excellent english language. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? actually i can work USA, europe and asia countries but i am interested to work in seychelles island as the place is so nice and peaceful and i am curious about the place , the people and culture and if given a chance i would love to work there indefinitely. What countries have you worked in? i have not work outside philippines yet. I would love to work oversea if given a chance. What countries do you have a visa to work in? None. What field do you currently work in? i am currently working as medical transcriptionist for 2 years now and i previously worked as office secretary before for 4 years and i can work either of them as i am experienced with it. What fields have you worked in before? secretarial jobs. customer service jobs. What qualifications do you hold? I am graduate of bachelor of science in secretarial administration. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? well for me, skills is more valuable because i developed it over the years with love and experience and enhance it through time and i can have it forever and that would be my asset. many people never graduate formal education but are very successful now because of the skills they are having and developed it through time. Describe the benefits of working with others its essential to work with other people because you can exchange ideas with them, you can teach each other, you can lean on if something is wrong and its a nice feeling if someone is there to talk to every day in a working environment. Describe the benefits of working alone working alone is a choice. for example for a mother who attend her kids at home and needs income even she is at home. working alone is also nice because you can budget your own time, you can go out anywhere you go or attend to by just leaving your work at home and come back to work any time. What was your worst working experience? my worst working experience was my boss was angry with me because i never done the job that was in his mind and i felt humiliated but its ok i learned from it. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? well i learned to adopt different people in this world, every person is different but i try to get along well. i also learned to always be better person everyday and try to work better everyday too and i always give importance to everything that I learned in that day and it is always better to have a job and have income of my own than depending on other people. What unique skills do you have? well i really do not have unique skills as others but what i can say is that i am a medical transcriptionist, i am familiar with medical terminologies, i am a secretary, i can always take care of my boss and my office and i am independent, i can work with less supervision and i love to learn everyday and i always give importance to my carreer as that is my life. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? i would consider a dream job as working somewhere oversea, somewhere far from my comfort zone, somewhere far in the philippines and far from my family and be independent and take charge with my life and carreer. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? as a secretary, most interesting aspects would be meeting different kinds of people everyday, conversing different people everyday, meeting up with my boss standards and styles of work. as a medical transcriptionist, knowing different diagnoses in every peoples body, maintaining proper and accurate doctors report everyday, trying to work more reports everyday with 100% accuracy and trying to adopt different personalities in the workplace. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? as a secretary, doing the daily secretary routine in the office as making coffee for my boss, attending office data entries everyday and answering unsatisfied customer calls. as medical transcriptionist, it would be catching up turn around time for the reports for difficult dictators as this is giving me stress at work.
