Looking for a Hotel Butler or Personal Butler JobWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a Hotel Butler or Personal Butler job. What nationality are you? I am a Filipino. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I do speak english fluently and basic arabic language. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I want to try to work in Singapore. The place seems good to me and I want to experience it. What countries have you worked in? Previuosly, I had worked in Qatar. But right now, I in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. What countries do you have a visa to work in? None. I only have a visa with my present employer. What field do you currently work in? I am currently in the field of Butler Service with a designation as a Senior Hotel Butler. What fields have you worked in before? My previous field was F&B. What qualifications do you hold? I am a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management. I also had more than five years of experience as a Hotel Butler. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider formal education is more valuable for me. It serves as the basis of landing a very good job in the market most especially in a very well known company. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others could create team work, will make the work easier and will be able to learn some ideas from others. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits of working alone could develop your sel-esteem, able to concentrate on how to do things correctly by focussing on it and will learn to stand alone. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experienced was a common one, a human error. It happened in the middle of service time when someone bumped on me while carrying glasses of red wine. It spilled into my uniform turning it into red color that made me look like I was bleeding. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The most important lesson in my career is that, you need to be patient and honest in your job. What unique skills do you have? I can easily relate to different types of people. Its like very easy for me to engage them to start a conversation. And this maybe the reason why I like being a Butler because it really needs this kind of genuine interaction with the Guest during their stay. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I consider my current job now as a Hotel Butler as my dream job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspects in my field is when the Guest smiles at you after giving service. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least interesting aspects in my field is that, isnpite of all the efforts being exerted to make the Guest happy but still there is a complain. If I get hired, what would I do? Well, I just need to do what needs to be done immaculately. And I can guarantee to give my full support to the company, my loyalty and most of all honesty in everything I do with Gods help.
