I have not worked any where outside the borders of somalilad (Northwestern somalia) but I have worked local NGO in Hargeisa What countries do you have a visa to work in? I do not have any visas for any country rather than my homeland What field do you currently work in? I am a victim of these recent economic crises I have lost my job due to these crises What fields have you worked in before? I have worked earlier as a finance assistant and health adviser for local NGO What qualifications do you hold? I am a senior student at Hargeisa university at faculty of science and technollogy BIOMEDICAL DEPARTMENT I have also completed 3 years of medical courses at faculty of medcine and surgery at Hargeisa university Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider more valuable the formal education because it is important and it has more job opportunities with higher pay Describe the benefits of working with others working with others has many benifits first you are getting more social you knew how to work people of different ideas sometimes with different nationalities you find best simple ways of helping other do their job if they fail and also you learn how others could help if you met difficulties in your daily jobs during the work Describe the benefits of working alone You find self confidence and you became more independent and adventure you also find lots of progress day after day. your personal decissions and ideas suggestions of others to you will not be so effective on your work you knew also the problems of working alone as well as its benifits What was your worst working experience? my worst work experiance was in when I was a chairman of an elleciton team at Buqdhada (it is aplce where two heavily armed clans clashe in several times and cost the lives of many people) always their dispute incease as the the ellection comes near because of the majoraty of the voters is determining the the owner ship of the area and always wars and clashes happen in the ellection times that some times result the the taking away of of the votting boxs and killing and abducting the workers fortunately I and the rest of the team managed to settle their dispute with the help of huge presence of military and police forces we succeeded and both the tribes vote peacefully and free and fair ellection has taken place. I CAN CALL THIS MY BEST DARING EXPERIANCE What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I learnt throughout my career is that the self confidence at work is good and taking courses in your classes relating to your career is also helpfull What unique skills do you have? the unique skills that I have includes I am computer expert and I know ellectrical repairig whether it is a radio, camera ,tv mobile, computer, setting satelite dishes always my family,freinds and neighbours call me whenever they face a problem on these items and I always easily repiar it What would you consider as your 'dream job'? At the moment I would like to be atranslater(somali/english translater wich I have worked before)but my career is much higher and I KNOW THAT every person dream of futre jobis high but he needs to take the risks that surrounds it What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
